Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, in the shadow of New York City, Joe grew up dreaming of a career in show business. His nights were spent studying Johnny Carson, David Lettermen, Eddie Murphy, and the legendary comic minds of the 1980's. A prepubescent Joe Pardavila would put together shows that included magic, music, and celebrity impressions for anyone who would placate him. After a brief and unsuccessful run at William Paterson College in Wayne, New Jersey, Joe stumbled upon a job at NY's legendary radio station, 95.5 WPLJ. His first year was spent driving the prize van and handing out free t-shirts. He was given a shot with the station's celebrated AM drive show, "Scott & Todd in the Morning" and nicknamed "Monk". He started as their phone screener, and soon began contributing on-air with his sarcastic charm and vast knowledge of pop culture. Eventually, Scott and Todd named him their Executive Producer in 2005.
